At East Park Primary, our approach to learning is simple yet powerful: Revisit - Learn - Apply - Embed - Assess.

This framework ensures a clear and consistent learning journey for every pupil, in every classroom.

We begin each new topic by Revisiting prior knowledge. This helps children connect new information to what they already know, building a strong foundation for learning. Next, we Learn new concepts and skills through engaging and interactive lessons. Children then have the opportunity to Apply their new knowledge, putting what they've learned into practice through a range of activities.

The crucial next step is to Embed learning, solidifying new knowledge and skills through repeated practice and different contexts. Finally, we Assess understanding, which allows both teachers and pupils to see what has been learned and identify any areas that need further support.
